A MIND of VALOR by Westerfield Tolbert, 30-Day Challenge, Day 9

On this 9th day of the 30-day Challenge, I have chosen to discuss the principle of #Orientation.

Merriam-Webster defines orientation; as the change of position by organs, organelles, or organisms in response to external stimulus and a usually general or lasting direction of thought, inclination, or interest.

This principle belongs among the other 25 Contiguous Principles because how we orient ourselves to the world will mirror how the world receives and responds.

We will not be able to control how the boomerang of energy returns to us, but the perspective that we take and use to engage the world will be amplified by our actions.

Every moment of the day we are presented with choices that when compounded together either make for a great life or one with regrets and lacking congruency.

Our mindsets act as a conduit when our orientations are challenged or come up against resistance. In moments like this, we are forced to re-orient ourselves to the environment.

Our re-orientation becomes a check against mindlessness and perpetual stagnation. Orientation is not something you just sit on it is action.
